NEWS:
Electronic-Fax (Efax) services will be down for maintenance on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 from 8AM to 5PM. If your department is affected, please contact the Voice Systems Engineering Group at (407)823- 5117 for more information.

Dial-UP Service Update: Due to very low usage and recent UCF budget cuts, Computer Services & Telecommunications (CS&T) will no longer be offering or supporting local (407)-235-4201 and toll-free “On-the-Go” Internet dial-up services beginning October 1, 2008. For more information on upcoming changes click here.

UCF Telecommunications continuously strives to improve your campus telephone service and in doing so, has enhanced the UCF telephone system to follow the universal standard of dialing "9" to access an outside line. No longer do you need to decide if a number is local, toll, or long distance. Simply dial "9" and the system will route the call for you in the most economical way.

UCF has recently become a node on the Florida Lambda Rail (FLR).  Thru the use of fiber-optics, the  campus now has 10GB of Internet bandwidth to support research and educational applications.  For more information visit our "Affiliates" page and click on the FLR Web site

Did you Know...

UCF has one of the largest deployments of wireless (Wi-Fi) Internet access when compared to many other college campuses.  More then 90% of the campus is covered by Wi-Fi, allowing students, faculty and staff to access the Internet from virtually anywhere on campus.
